AUTOMOTIVE INC. COMPANY HISTORY
B & B Dixon Automotive Inc. was established in order to purchase Borovoy Auto
Supplies in Newmarket. Borovoy Auto Supplies, originally an auto parts jobber
and machine shop serving the Richmond Hill area, came to Newmarket in 1982. B.&
B. Dixon began operating at 72 George Street in Newmarket in 1988.
The next few years saw the company grow to the point that a second store at 75
Mary Street in nearby Aurora was opened in 1991. In 1996, the company moved its
headquarters to its current location at 395 Harry Walker Parkway North in
Newmarket. Over the next 15 years, B & B Dixon Automotive has achieved a steady
pattern of growth and development, proud of its record of service to our
customers and our community.
B & B Dixon Automotive, originally as a McKerlie-Millen associate and entered
into a new association with Uni-Select in 1998. This relationship has developed
into a good partnership over the years and remains in place today.
Our company's mission continues to be to serve our customers in the most
effective way possible, providing the best inventory of auto parts and
accessories in our market at the most affordable pricing possible, as well as
the most value-added service and expertise available.
We hope to be part of enhancing your auto parts shopping experience and to
provide the type of special service that you require as our valued customer.
